Meet The CEO

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,

as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

I am Dr. Jamekia L. Davis. I have been an educator for 33 years, and have served as a Special Education Teacher, Special Education Lead, and Special Education Director, as well as a Regular Education Teacher and a Behavior Intervention Specialist during those years. I have a Doctorate Degree in Education with a minor in Human Services. I am an expert in the field and have a passion for the success of students in every aspect. I believe that all children can learn in a way that meets their needs, whether it be Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, or Tactile. The style will determine the child's strengths and if these are not being met, the child will have difficulty. As an educator, I am prone to address all needs necessary for success and have also done contract work for United Therapeutic Services offering Parent Aide and Behavioral Aide services through the Department of Family and Children Services, which offered both home and off site visits.

I am a certified life coach and mentor, and CEO of Butterfly Affects Services Unlimited, LLC. My dissertation was on mentoring and helping At Risk students, and was entitled, " THE EFFECTS OF MENTORING AND HELPING AT RISK STUDENTS", for which I researched how mentoring could positively affect the success of At Risk students. I am also certified in Wright's Law Advocacy after completing the training by Peter Wright. I have served on several committees and am affiliated with several organizations to support or grow within education such as The Counsel For Exceptional Children, attended trainings within the school system and The Georgia Department of Education, yearly trainings through the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Family and Children's Services and Georgia Department of Education.

I have affiliations with: Southeast Support Group for Special Needs Students, Special Olympics, Georgia Advocate That Believe, Parent to Parent in Georgia, Southern Learning Differences, and Wrights Law.

My goal is to make a difference where I can, and provide services to make that difference!
